The business unit AGC Plasma has expertise in engineering and R&D to develop new processes and equipment in the field of plasma coatings. The team handles varied projects worldwide with a focus on vacuum and plasma. Applications for our projects can be found inside the glass industry but also in various fields beyond glass such as display, astronomy, textiles and renewable energy where magnetron sputtering, plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition or ion implantation technologies can be used

AGC Plasma has offices in three different locations: AGC’s Technovation Centre located in Gosselies (Belgium), Interpane’s E&B offices in Lauenförde (Germany) and Sacramento, California, (USA).

Your mission inside AGC Plasma Technology Solutions: mechanical engineer

Within the offices in Lauenförde (Germany) , you will be in charge of the design of electro-mechanical equipment.

This includes:

  • Build / review technical specifications with the customer (production and / or R & D)
  • Participate to the project / equipment safety analysis (risk analysis, documentation, certifications)
  • Design the equipment using 3D CAD software and produce corresponding 2D drawings
  • Participate to the design review
  • Manage, with support of purchasing dept, price requests, technical analysis of offers, negotiations and orders
  • Monitor the assembly of equipment at the supplier or in house workshop
  • Produce the necessary files part of the project / equipment documentation
  • Support the customer site assembly / commissioning team
  • Collect feedback, provide technical assistance after equipment start-up

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master degree in mechanical or electromechanical engineering
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a study office in a similar function
  • Great autonomy, teamwork and creativity
  • Leadership (management of internal or external contractors for detailed engineering, manufacturing and assembly)
  • Knowledge of specific 3D CAD softwares (Solidworks, ProEngineer)
  • Trips abroad for monitoring of installation
  • Good knowledge of English

Your mission inside AGC Plasma Technology Solutions: process control engineer

Within the offices in Lauenförde (Germany), you will be in charge of technical projects related to automation and process control of process equipment.

This includes:

  • Build / review technical specifications with the customer (production and / or R & D)
  • Participate to the project / equipment safety analysis (risk analysis, documentation, certifications)
  • Manage design of equipment electrical drawings
  • Developing PLC logic, process control PID, motion system and Scada application
  • Participate to the design review
  • Manage, with support of purchasing dept, price requests, technical analysis of offers, negotiations and orders
  • Monitor the assembly of equipment at the supplier or in house workshop
  • Produce the necessary files part of the project / equipment documentation
  • Participate at customer site to the equipment commissioning
  • Collect feedback, provide technical assistance after equipment start-up

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Industrial or Civil Engineer (electromechanical or electronic) majoring in continuous and batch process control
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a study office in a similar function
  • Autonomy, teamwork and creativity
  • Project management skills in automation
  • Leadership (management of external contractors and / or internal staff)
  • Experience and knowledge in the following fields:
    • reading and critical reviews of electrical plans (from electrical MT distribution circuits to automation)
    • production of electrical drawings or diagrams
    • control systems
    • analysis and realisation of PC programming (VB or C) and PLC (ladder)
    • network architecture (implementation of Ethernet networks)
    • SQL language knowledge is a plus (database management)
    • machine monitoring or production lines systems is a plus
    • industrial instrumentation
  • Ready to train:
    • In vacuum technology and vacuum machine design in particular to be able to size up vacuum pump equipment
    • In plasma and plasma generator
    • On sputtering coaters and maintenance aspects (training facilities)
    • In any relevant domain
  • Trips abroad to follow installation and commissioning
  • Good knowledge of English
